How to watch in the United States

2026 is the first season with a new home for Formula 1 on American screens. Apple TV holds the exclusive US rights under a five-year deal that began this season, so the old ESPN route is gone.

Watching from outside the US? Broadcast rights differ by country — your national broadcaster or F1 TV is usually the answer.

Quick answers

When is the 2026 Las Vegas Grand Prix?

Thursday 19 to Saturday 21 November 2026. The race itself is on Saturday night.

Why is the race on Saturday?

Sessions run late into the evening so the cars race under the Strip's lights. A Saturday night start puts the race in a better window for viewers in Europe and leaves Sunday for travel home.

Is the race on free TV in the US?

Live coverage is on Apple TV. Practice and some races are free in the app; the full season needs a subscription.

Will the race continue after 2026?

The event's contract was extended to cover 2027, and organisers have said they want a longer-term arrangement. Clark County has approved the race for ten years.

Is this the official site?

No. We are an independent fan guide. Buy tickets only from the official race site or authorised sellers.
